Bout One: Toxic Shocks 120 vs. Sake Tuyas 85

The first bout of the night showcased the Sake Tuyas and Toxic Shocks battling each other in their first face-off of the season. The Shocks began the night by holding the Sakes scoreless in the first three jams. But with some impressive jams from newcomers Nora Gretz and Desi Scarnez, the Sakes chipped away at the Shocks lead to end the first half with a score of Shocks 74 – Sakes 30.

The Sakes showed even more determination in the second half as they successfully outscored the Shocks in those last thirty minutes. Ultimately, the Sakes were unable to stop the undefeated Shocks, who continued their winning streak with a final score of 120 to 85.

MVPs were awarded to Sweet Tease (Sakes) and Spazz Attaque (Shocks).

Bout Two: Atlanta Rumble Bs 111 vs. Rogue Rollergirls (Fayetteville, NC) 63

In the second bout of the night, the Rumble Bs took on Fayetteville, NC’s Rogue Rollergirls in their second home game of the season. The game started out strong for both teams but the Rumble Bs soon took a commanding lead, ending the first half 69-25. Each team spent considerable time in the penalty box culminating in ejections for Atlanta’s Pearl Reckless in the first half and Rogue’s Samoa Pain in the second. Despite constant effective hitting from Rogue, the Bs were able to strengthen their lead in the second half to finish the night with a final score of 111 to 63.

MVPs were awarded to Deathskull (Rumble Bs) and Leif Mia Alone (Rogue).
