How did you decide on your name: My derby name came from Jeff. He coached us shortly in the very beginning, until he broke his foot jumping off a bar trying to get a better look at some boobs. I was coming up with some pretty awful names, and someone piped up, "No one's take Elle Beaux yet!" Of course it wasn't spelled that awesomely until I got my hands on it.

Position(s) Played:Pivot, blocker 2. I thought about jamming, but it seems like I get a concussion every time I do it.

Introduction to Derby: I was drinking with Demi Gore, and she randomly asked if I knew how to roller skate. I hadn't done it in 15 years, but I was sure I could relearn. She asked " Would you be interested in joining a roller derby league?" Without even thinking, I said "Absolutely." I didn't even know what that entailed, but roller derby seemed like a natural thing for me to do!

Derby wife: Yes, Elle Beaux finally settled down, and is happily married to Robo Roller of the Apocalypstix
Interests outside of derby: shining my big black boots, improv comedy, cruisin', seeing how much Jaeger it takes to make me enjoy a John Mayer concert, collecting ex-boyfriends
